Jazz Trumpet Silhouette Photo at DC's HR-57

Trumpet player photographed at the old Washington, DC jazz club HR-57. The silhouette of the player, trumpet, and microphone on the wall, with the texture of the brick, really makes this stand out. I took this one night in 2004, and it's always been one of my most popular photos. This was originally film shot at 3200 ISO, so it's extra grainy to get through the low light of the club.
